2010 TRAINING FEE SCHEDULE GROUP LESSON $40 / hour own horse or lesson horse (best match for the rider)
PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL LESSON $45 / hour own horse or lesson horse (best match for the rider) Purchase a 4-pack of Private 1 hour lessons for $160 (save $20).
HALF-HOUR LESSON FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN $35 for half an hour own horse or lesson horse (best match for rider)
SCHOOLING $35 per ride schooling your horse Our lesson horses and ponies are professionally chosen and trained to accomodate beginner to advanced riders.
Boarding
* FULL BOARD Daily turnout, stalls cleaned 2x day, fresh shavings added as needed to your horse’s stall, vet/farrier appointments scheduled (if using barn’s choice), grained/hayed 2x day, water buckets cleaned/filled daily, horses get fly sprayed upon turnout w/ owner provided fly spray and hosed off/bathed when they get brought in to keep cool & clean. We also have a full blanketing service in the winter months at no additional charge.
* GROOMING BOARD This package includes everything that full board offers, plus grooming your horse 7 days a week. The grooming includes: hooves picked and white line or thrush meds. applied, hoof conditioner, curry and brush your horse, conditioning spray to coat, mane and tail, brush out mane, tail and forelock, fly spray, wipe down face, apply any cut medication, or treat any scrunge/fungus problem areas. Bathing is included also. When bathed, we use different types of shampoos depending on your horse’s coat needs. After the bath, your horse will have their legs towel dried and will be hand grazed or stood in front of the fan until they are dry before getting put back in their stall. Also, necessary mane pulling, and clipping of the muzzle and legs are included.
* TRAINING BOARD This package includes what both full and grooming board offer, plus a complete training program. Lauren will set up a program that is just right for you and your horse. This will involve: Unlimited training rides, lessons, and lunging, grooming and bathing. This package is very beneficial for the serious show competitor, young horse, or for someone who wants to advance quickly in their riding career.
* OTHER SERVICES Groom Service At Horse Shows This includes setting up your stall and barn area, lunging your horse, preparing your horse for the show ring, daily stall cleaning & feeding and watering. Plus, lunging (if needed) helping you tack /un tack and bathing. Tipping the groom is not required-but appreciated. Clipping Prices vary from horse to pony size, as well as level of clipping difficulty due to the attitude of the animal. Drugs are not included in the price, a separate bill will be given by the Vet or Lauren depending on who has to come out, because of the level of sedation. Schooling Rides These rides are beneficial to your horse/pony, and should be done at least once a month, so any problem areas can be assessed and corrected by the trainer. Also, when you have a green horse/pony, that animal needs to stay one step ahead of the rider so frustration will not be a big part of the ride.
* LEASING If you lease one of Lauren’s horses or a lesson horse, the lease includes: Partial Lease 2-3 rides a week on the lease horse/pony. I will include one group lesson a month. You can also purchase your extra lessons at the boarder’s discounted rate. If you need extra help, feel free to ask any of our trainers, and they will be more than happy to help you. Full Lease Up to 6 rides a week (the horses get a day off) and 4 group lessons. This is a great way to see if you are ready to buy a horse. This gives you a first hand experience to see what it is actually like to own your own horse without all of the extra expense of the boarding, vet and farrier bills. Check to see which horses are available. Outside Lease We also lease show horses. We will bring in any horse you want to lease, just tell us what you are looking for and the budget you want to work with. You will pay the owner for the lease, and Lauren for the board. This horse will be totally yours, with unlimited use. Most horses in this type of lease, offer the lessee a buyout, or a lease to own option, if this is something you are interested in.
* CONSIGNMENT We take horses in on consignment at our barn. This includes training and keeping the horse schooled, showing the horse, setting up customer viewings, and all marketing that is necessary to sell the horse. Talk to Lauren for more details.
